What it Intails |
It is a statutory requirement to train staff in food hygiene matters. Proper training benefits both you and your staff. Staff will benefit from personal development. Employers will benefit because well-trained staff consistently perform better and more effectively. Members of staff who handle and prepare high-risk food are required to obtain the Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
Training encourages owners and staff to adopt efficient, cleaner, safer practices and explains the reason they are necessary.
